[REVIEW] CELIMAX | Noni Ampoule, Jojoba Cleansing Oil, Heartleaf Pad, Madecica Foam Cleansing

Posted on

Hi, everyone! How are you? Finally we made it through 2020. I hope 2021 will be a lot better than last year.

This is such a belated post but I manage to finally write it all and upload it. Today, I want to talk about a Korean skincare brand. They sent us some products to try and share our honest experience using their products. It’s Celimax. Celimax is a beauty brand founded on the principle of honesty. They strive to make an efficacious cosmetic that delivers on what the ingredients themselves promise to do on skin. One of their popular skincare ingredients is Noni extract and they have several products using it as their key component. Noni fuit is known as the ‘gift from God’ with more than 150 kinds of precious human essential ingredients and 200 kinds of phytochemical antioxidants.

This ampoule is one of their best-sellers and highlighted products. The Real Noni ampoule is a fresh concentrated ampoule that conveys the nutrition and energy of Noni deep into the skin. Noni ampoule does nourishes & hydrates the skin as well as improving fine wrinkles, skin elasticity, and calms irritated skin.

This ampoule has several active ingredients such as Noni extract (antioxidant and rejuvenating), Adenosine (skin-restoring and reduce wrinkles), and Rosemary Oil (soothes irritated skin). This ampoule is concentrated with 71,77% Noni extract and Noni Seed Oil that rejuvenates the skin with over 200 kinds of minerals and vitamins. It also offers deep hydration and anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and antioxidant properties and protects the skin against free radicals.

This ampoule is recommended for dry, dehydrated, dull & tired skin and skin with aging signs.

My thoughts

First, let’s talk about their bottle design. It has such a unique dropper design. When it’s closed, the center of the cap sinks into the head and pull the ampoule into the dropper. So when I open the cap, the dropper already has the ampoule inside it automatically. I usually used a pea size of it.

The texture is similar to a liquid gel and it’s a bit heavy, so I prefer to use only a little. There is a hint of herbal scent but it disappeared quickly. I spread the ampoule on my face and gently tap until it fully absorbed into the skin. This ampoule didn’t give an instant effect, it takes time to see the benefit. This ampoule makes my skin healthier, radiant, and also has a moisturizing effect. It works more to my overall skin looks rather than a targeted place or spot. This ampoule does have unique ingredients and is one of a kind product. I kinda fell in love with this ampoule. I’m almost finished with this ampoule and will be missing it so much.

This is an oil first cleanser that cleanses dirt, removes makeup, blackheads, whiteheads, and excess sebum. It contains six natural oil that can gently dissolve blackheads and clean pores without irritating the skin. This oil is gentle enough for oily and sensitive skin types and can penetrate deep to unclog pores and remove stubborn blackheads.

The key ingredient is Jojoba seed oil which balances oily skin, soothes sensitive skin, and also hydrates dry skin. Other featured ingredients are Bergamot Fruit Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Olive Oil that enhance nourishment and hydration. They also said that this cleansing oil can also eliminate old dead skin cells and prevents moisture evaporation by protecting the skin barrier.

My thoughts

It came in a pump plastic oil with a purple semi-transparent bottle. The pump is perfect for this kind of oil texture and very convenient to use. This cleansing oil has a quite runny texture for an oil. It’s light and has a mild Bergamot, sweet and citrus, scent.

I usually use 4-5 pumps to clean my face. I put it on my hands and then massage it onto my face. After that, I rinse it off with water. It leaves my skin fresh, moisturized without any greasy texture. And afterward, I continue with their foam cleansing for the second cleansing. It is also very effective to remove makeup. I tried cleansing some waterproof eyeliner and this oil did the job well, slide to the last photo to see how it works. And as for blackheads, you need to use it for quite some time to see the progress. I can only see it after using it every day for a month, it really does removes some blackheads around my nose. This has become my new favorite cleansing oil foe now.

Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil (1500ppm), Sunflower Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Olive Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Ethanol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Purified Water, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract, Bergamot Oil.

This peeling pad is a multi-tasking pad soaked in hyaluronic acid toner to remove skin impurities. It has several functions such as Exfoliating (contains BHA to gently exfoliates excess dead skin), Skin Relief (Heartleaf extract calms redness & breakout), and Moisturizing (mild Hyaluronic toner leaves skin smooth, soft, hydrated).

This pad has two different texture sides. The smooth embossed side is to remove dirt and works as the chemical exfoliator and moisturizer. The gauze peeling side is the physical exfoliator for the nose, chin, and ears to removes blackheads. This pad can be used for other body parts such as the collarbone, neck, chest, elbow.

My thoughts

One of my favorite exfoliating products is a peeling pad. It’s so convenient and easy to use. So, when I know I got this pad from Celimax I was so thrilled. This pad can be used up to two times a week. I usually use this pad right after cleansing, before using toner. It leaves my skin smooth and hydrated. It is quite mild so I didn’t feel any tingling effect or redness. This pad helps with my blahckheads too. The combination of using this pas and the cleansing oil really helps diminish blackheads and whiteheads. I really love this pad because it’s simple and easy to use. And it would be a great exfoliating product for every skin type even the sensitive one.

This foam cleanser is a low pH second cleanser that is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. It has Coconut oil as natural surfactant to lift and remove skin impurities. Other key ingredients are Madecassoside and Cica which help repair and soothe damaged skin. This cleanser also free from fragrance and artificial colours.

My thoughts

I’ve emptied this cleanser and I love it. It takes almost 4 months to finish it, I use it everyday twice a day. I only use a pea amount of it, rub it on my hands until it creates microbubbles and then I massage it on my skin. After rinsing it off, my skin feels clean but didn’t felt stripped off.  It does cleanse very well and at the same time, it also has a hydrating effect. It doesn’t make my skin dry or tight at all. It has a mild Bergamot scent, just like the cleansing oil but milder than that one. Fortunately, my skin doesn’t have any problem with the scent at all. I think this cleanser has quickly become one of my favorite low pH cleansers.

Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Gaultheria Procumbens (Wintergreen) Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water, Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Bark Oil.

That’s all for now. Overall, I like all of the above product but my very favorite one is the ampoule and cleansing oil. They are one of kind item that is very unique in terms of composition and they both works great. Do not expect instant results from their products because, like they said, cosmetics do not make miracles. But with consistent and right routines, it will gives you a better skin.

Thanks guys! See you!
