Hi guys! It’s Ayu, again. Today, I want to talk about a brand new hand cream from Benton cosmetic, the Shea Butter and Olive Hand Cream. I got this from Benton for review purpose but all opinions are mine. I already in love with their Coconut and Shea Butter Hand Cream and when I saw the announcement that they’ll release another hand cream, I’m so excited. Now, let’s get into some details from this product.
Benton Shea Butter and Olive Hand Cream contains 10% of Ecocert certified Shea Butter and 2% Olive Oil. This hand cream contains Shea Butter which is a vegetable fat extracted from the nut of Shea trees and could moisturize rough and dry skin, also locking moisture in. The second main feature here is Olive Oil which is extracted from compressed Olives. It is rich in anti-oxidizing ingredients, such as Vitamin A and E which help prevent the aging of skin also form a moisture barrier to prevents moisture loss and help keep skin firm.
This cream contains Hyaluronic Acid and Panthenol to help moisturize skin. This hand cream is dermatologically tested and formulated with EWG green grade ingredients and also free from artificial fragrance, coloring, silicon oil, and other harmful ingredients.
My thoughts :
The texture is creamy and quite thick but not sticky at all. It absorbs to skin easily and gives instant moisturizing effect to my skin. It has a very fresh scent of Orange and a mild scent of Olive. The scent is very mild, not strong at all, and comes from the essential oil ingredients. I got a very dry skin case on my hand not so long ago, and this cream has been my savior. You can see it on the before and after photo below. Left is before (it’s very dry and also flaky), and right is after I use the hand cream (no more dry skin).
I love this as much the Coconut and Shea Butter Hand Cream and if you like something with a little bit of scent, this Shea butter and Olive hand cream is for you. Benton has already won my heart with their hand cream products, so this a great addition to for my hand cream choice. This is by far my favorite hand cream brand and it’s also very affordable! Will I repurchase? I will, no doubt 😉
