Hi everyone! It’s A and now I want to write a post about some product that I bought last month in Taiwan. There are 2 products from the same brand that I will review today, it is Kuan Yuan Lian Luffa Water and Aloe Vera Cooling Gel Spray.
I browse on the internet on favorites drugstore skincare in Taiwan and I found this brand. This brand is famous for using Luffa as the main ingredient. Their product can be easily found at some popular drugstore chain in Taiwan such as Poya and Watson.
When I went to Poya, there’s a set promo of these Luffa water & Aloe Vera gel spray. That’s how I also get the aloe vera. Now, let’s get into each product more.
Luffa is a genus of tropical and subtropical vines in the cucumber family *wikipedia. This water spray is meant to keep skin moisture and rejuvenate your skin. This water doesn’t have any scent. For the application, you just spray directly to your face.
It is a so-so face mist for me. It’s not very moisturizing but it gives a refreshing effect. I use this when my face is dull or just exposed to some heat. It gives a cooling effect even when you don’t store it in a refrigerator.Price wise, it’s very affordable. It cost 120 NTD for 100 ml. And only 190 NTD when I bought it together with the Aloe Vera. Repurchase? Sure! If I got a chance to visit Taiwan, I’ll definitely buy this face mist again.
Ingredients : Luffa Cylindrica Stem Sap / Pentylene Glycol.
This is an Aloe vera gel spray. It has a spray head but gel inside it instead of water. It has a strong sweet Aloe scent, which I can guess that it is perfume. Because of the fragrance, I hesitate to use it on my face so I tried it on my hand first. Turns out, it has a great cooling effect and gives no bad reaction. Now I use this to soothe my inflames eczema skin around my legs.
I like how soothing this product is, the only thing that bothered me is their fragrance.
Repurchase? maybe not because of the strong perfume. I don’t really like skincare product with a strong fragrance, but if you’re okay with it, this product is great overall.
