*Benton has provided this product for review purpose
Hi, it’s Ayu! This time I’ll talk about a new product that was sent to a week ago, it is a brand new serum from Benton Snail Bee line. The name of the product is Snail Bee Ultimate Serum. I’m very excited to try this product because the Snail Bee line has been very popular and had good reviews. So let’s start with talking about what this product is all about!
Snail Bee Ultimate Serum is made of Saccharomyces/Snail Secretion Filtrate Ferment Filtrate (70%) as a base. Saccharomyces/Snail Secretion Filtrate Ferment. The filtrate is obtained by filtering fermented Snail Secretion Filtrate, which has been fermented by yeast derived from grapes. As the yeast goes through the fermentation process of Snail Secretion Filtrate, it enhances the concentration of the active ingredients so that they can be absorbed into the skin more effectively. Bee venom in the serum helps to soothe blemishes. The serum is designed to protect skin and add suppleness to skin while helping to clear skin blemishes.
More feature from this serum :
– Tea Tree Leaf Water and Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water (green tea leaf water) relieve the skin stress and help with blemishes.
– Dermatologically tested. Suitable for all skin types. For being light, recommended for oily skin. For dry skin, the serum creates synergy when layered before moisturizers. For sensitive skin, the serum forms a protective layer, preventing skin damage and moisture loss.
– Free of fragrance, volatile alcohol, PEGs. Mild on the skin, having a slightly acidic pH of 5.5, which is similar to healthy skin’s pH.
The main ingredient from this Serum are Saccharomyces/Snail Secretion Filtrate Ferment Filtrate (refines the skin, fighting against skin’s oxidative stress), Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Water (skin soothing, hydrating, skin-protective, astringent, and anti-blemish effects), also Niacinamide and Adenosine for brightening & anti-wrinkle.
Snail Bee Ultimate Serum is recommended for dry & tight skin that need instant hydration, skin losing vitality & suppleness, hyperpigmentation/ uneven skin tone, sensitive skin, poor oil-water balance, skin that needs an oil-free & light product.
Texture wise, it looks and feels like a light gel liquid. A little goes along the way, I only use three drops for my entire face. The serum is very easily absorbed into my skin, and leave me only smooth feeling afterward. The applicator is also very convenient, the bottle is thick but not heavy at all.
For scent, I like the fact that this serum doesn’t have any strong smell, only smell a little honey scent and that’s all.
Moving on to my experience in using this product for 14 days on my day and night skincare routine. The truth is I skip last 2 days using this serum because I was sick and has no mood to use any skincare at that moment. The left one is the before and right one is the after photos. I took the ‘after’ photo on day 14, which was 2 days after I was sick (2 days after I skip using the serum) and at that time I got some bumps on my cheeks. The best effect that I feel was after around 8 days of using this serum. My face felt very smooth and hydrated. I also feel my skin gets a little bit brighter than before. And the best part is that my skin didn’t have any bad reactions from this serum, yay!
For the price, it is around KRW 23,000 (USD 20) for 35 ml serum. It is quite affordable for a multi-function serum like this. This serum is very recommended for a dry and sensitive like mine!
