Hi everyone! It’s Ayu here. Today I want to talk about a special package sent by StyleKorean. These products are gathered to fight post-acne marks and dark spots.
There are five products from Neogen and also Surmedic. I’m writing this post after two weeks of using them. Two of them are exfoliating products, one brightening serum, one soothing ampoule, and a moisturizer.
Let’s start with the exfoliating products.

NEOGEN DERMATOLOGY LEMON BRIGHT PHA GAUZE PEELING PAD.
Surmedic Deep Clear Bright Calming Peeling Gel is an exfoliating product in a form of cellulose-free clear peeling gel. It is formulated with PHA, Centella, Cica, Tea tree, Green tea water. Besides removing dead skin cell, it also gives a soothing and brightening effect. It has a lemon scent but very subtle.
It has a gel texture and will turn into scrubs once I massage it on my face. After that, I rinse it off and I can my skin feels smooth but not drying at all. For me, this peeling gel is quite gentle for an exfoliating product. And I like how it has soothing ingredients besides the PHA.

The next one is Neogen Lemon Bright PHA Gauze Peeling Pad. This is a patented triple structured pure cotton pad, on one side, the soft gauze cotton removes dead skin cells and impurities from the skin, while the other embossed side is soaked with the essence that replenishes skin’s radiance, leaving skin brighter and clearer. The ingredients are Lemon (which helps revitalize, brighten skin and boost radiance), Glutathione, and also contains PHA, AHA, BHA LHA.
This peeling pad is a bit tricky for me because the gauze side is a bit rough so I have to swipe it gently on my face, but the embossed side is very convenient to use. It leaves my skin smoother after use. So far, this pad didn’t irritate me so I will continue to use it to see the final results.

NEOGEN DERMATOLOGY REAL VITA C SERUM
This one is a super potent Vitamin C Serum enriched with Niacinamide and 22% of Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate along with citrus fruit extracts and vitamin complex that all work together to brighten and firm the appearance of skin for a healthy-looking complexion. As for firming and revitalizing this serum has five citrus fruit (Lemon, Lime, Orange, Tangerine, Grapefruit) extracts that are abundant in Vitamin c. The formula also contains Tocopherol (Vitamin E) and Panthenol (Vitamin B3) which provide nutritive benefit to the skin and keeping skin healthy, preventing further skin troubles. Other than that, this serum has Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid as a hydrating and moisturizing agent. This serum has a short PAO which is 6 months.
It has a water oily texture and a light yellow transparent color. I can smell a bit f citrus scent but it vanished once I applied it. I’ve been using the Vita C serum for three months (I had this one before I got the package from StyleKorean). Mine has changed its color but not really noticeable, I store it in a fridge to keep it from oxidation. This one is a great vitamin C product for me. It didn’t irritate my skin at all and I can see the brightening effect as soon as two weeks of usage. For fading acne scar, it takes around three weeks. At first, I use it once a day at night (4-6 drops) and after a few weeks, I started to use it twice a day. This serum really helps brighten acne marks and makes my skin looks healthier.

SURMEDIC AZULENE SOOTHING PEPTIDE AMPOULE
This is an ampoule enriched with Blue Capsules containing highly concentrated Azulene and 10 kinds of peptides for an instantly soothing effect, as well as Ceramide Capsules to moisturize the skin. It’s also formulated with five core Centella Asiatica ingredients to instantly soothe sensitive skin. Blue capsules and Ceramide capsules also deliver intensive hydrating and tightening benefits to the skin. It’s also formulated Panthenol, Calamine, and Ceramide to help improve the skin’s barrier while preventing moisture loss.
The ampoule has a gel texture, light transparent blue color, and tiny white capsules in it. This ampoule feels cool on the skin makes it a great product for soothing irritated skin. It has no scent and feels hydrating as well. It doesn’t leave any stickiness and absorbs easily into the skin. I use it almost every day, even when my skin isn’t angry because it has hydrating and tightening agent too. SURMEDIC SUPER CERAMIDE 100™ RENEWAL CREAM
This moisturizer is a fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula and lightweight on the skin, also free of artificial fragrance and colors, parabens, sulfates, and mineral oil. It
has five types of Ceramides combine with Hyaluronic Acid that gives moisturization to create a hydrating skin barrier. Also contains Adenosine which reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Other than that, it also has Centella Asiatica Extract and Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extracts that help soothe irritated skin. The cream is a bit thick has a bit of lemon scent and has a light yellow color.
This Ceramide cream is an emollient thick cream that is great for my dry skin. Even though it’s a little bit thick, this cream absorbs really quickly into the skin and didn’t leave any sticky or greasy finish. It leaves my skin glow and well moisturized. I used to prefer a lighter moisturizer but since last year, I started to like thicker moisturizer more. This quickly became one of my favorite thick moisturizers.

In the before photo, I have some acne below my mouth that has just dried up, you can see there’s still a little bump on it. After 10 days, the bumps are gone and I just need to deal with some PIE that will fade in few more weeks using these products, especially the Vita C serum.
Overall, these are a must-have if you’re battling acne marks or dark spots. The Vita C Serum and Ceramide cream are my favorites of them all, but the other products also work great on me too.
